]]> Château Haut-Brion is the most famous wine estate in the Graves region. It is located in the Pessac-Leognan1 appellation area, in the communes of Pessac (headquarters) and Talence, in the Bordeaux conurbation. It produces one of the most prestigious Bordeaux wines, which bears the same name. Château Haut-Brion is a "premier grand cru classé" according to the 1855 classification of Bordeaux wines. It shares this rare distinction with Château Margaux, Château Latour, Château Mouton Rothschild and Château Lafite Rothschild. In addition, Chateau Haut-Brion is also classified as a Graves Cru in the 1959 classification.
