André Perret practises the art of winegrowing in Verlieu, a commune of Chavanay located 50 km south of Lyon (France). The estate now covers about 13 hectares on the right bank of the Rhône. It benefits from the best climates of the appellation. The hills covered with vines give birth to the Côtes-du-Rhône crus. The Condrieu, Saint-Joseph or even the so-called "varietal" wines of André Perret give off scents and aromas testifying to the optimal sunshine of the vines, the exceptional soil that nourishes them and a vinification process that demands rigour and attention.

Built on the ruins of a Feudal castle, this imposing building contains old vines of this fabulous grape variety called "Viognier" in its enclosed area and terraces.
It was around 1986 that André Perret took this famous plot of vines on lease in order to cultivate it. From there is born each year this exceptional Condrieu combining flavour and finesse called "Clos Chanson".
