Domaine du Pré Semelé is located in Maimbray in the commune of Sury-en-Vaux, 5 km north of Sancerre.
The vineyard has been passed down for 4 generations and remains a family-run business.
The 2 brothers, Julien and Clément Raimbault, currently cultivate 20 hectares of Sancerre appellation in organic conversion, with the greatest respect for the terroirs. The Sauvignons are planted on the clay-limestone slopes of Maimbray, 70% of which are white earth and 30% stony. The terres blanches bring power, roundness and minerality. The caillottes bring fruit and finesse. The white Sancerre wines are complex, with great purity and minerality.
