Domaine Raveneau is located in Chablis, Burgundy, and is regarded as one of the region's most prestigious wine producers. Its history goes back several generations. The estate was founded in the early 20th century by François Raveneau, who began growing vines and producing wine in Chablis. At the time, the estate was relatively modest, with a limited area of vines. It was in the 1940s that the Raveneau estate began to gain recognition, thanks in particular to the work of François Raveneau and his son, Jean-Marie Raveneau. They implemented rigorous viticultural practices, focusing on quality and respecting the specific characteristics of the Chablis terroir

Domaine Raveneau has distinguished itself by producing wines of great purity, with a precise expression of the Chablis terroir. The Raveneau family has acquired parcels of vines in prestigious locations such as Montée de Tonnerre, Blanchot, Valmur and Les Clos, among others. The style of Domaine Raveneau wines is marked by the freshness, minerality and liveliness characteristic of Chablis wines. The wines are carefully matured, using French oak barrels, but avoiding excessive influence of wood, in order to preserve the expression of the terroir and the purity of the fruit. Over the years, Domaine Raveneau's wines have acquired a worldwide reputation and have become highly sought-after by wine lovers and collectors alike. Demand far outstrips supply, making these wines rare and coveted.

Today, the Raveneau estate is run by Bernard Raveneau, son of Jean-Marie Raveneau, and Isabelle Raveneau, daughter of François Raveneau. They continue to perpetuate the family tradition by producing exceptional wines, while preserving the heritage and reputation of the Raveneau estate in Chablis.
