1959 marked the beginning of the estate when William Fèvre declared his first harvest. Coming from a family that had been present in the Chablis vineyards for more than 250 years, it was with complete legitimacy that he was able to launch himself as a winemaker with the family's 7 hectares.
Over the years, the estate has been enriched with new plots, always remaining on the historical terroirs. He became one of the largest vineyard owners in Chablis with a prestigious 78 hectare vineyard, 15.9 of which are classified as Premier Cru and 15.2 as Grand Cru.
