After late spring frosts, a fine summer and good botrytisation in the autumn, we harvested concentrated and intensely flavoured Aszú grapes and berries - the quality was exceptional, in fact so good that they were able to produce their full range of Aszú 1er and Grand 1er Cru for the first time since 2008. These exceptional Aszú berries with good structure and perfect botrytis were macerated in the fermenting must for two days. After pressing and the end of fermentation, the wines were placed in 300 and 500 litre Hungarian oak barrels in their large, deep underground cellars to age for over two years. The final blends were carefully crafted in spring 2019. Enjoy now or cellar for future pleasure as the wine matures.
