Nose : Expressive, the aromatic bouquet reveals fruit notes such as peach and mango combined with light woody and toasty notes.

Palate : Au palais, ce Meursault séduit par sa bouche généreuse et ample exprimant toute la singularité du terroir des Charmes avec ce « gras » si caractéristique. Doté d’une grande fraîcheur, le cru se prolonge longuement en finale et qui se termine par une note d'écorce de citron vert,  et une touche de salinité.

Food Pairings: Lobster, Lobster, Foie Gras, or Poultry in sauce.

]]> Domaine Faiveley is located in the heart of wine-growing Burgundy in Nuits-Saint-Georges where it is historically based.

The Faiveley family has progressively extended its estate and today owns some beautiful parcels: Gevrey-Chambertin, Pommard, Volnay, Puligny-Montrachet, Mercurey etc. Faiveley exploits more than 10 hectares of Grands Crus and nearly 25 hectares of Premiers Crus.

Les Charmes 2016 is sensual with notes of peach and mango on the nose. Intense, fresh and expressive on the palate. A very nice balance in the mouth.

Description of the vintage

The 2016 vintage had contrasting weather conditions:
- Budding was early (18 April)
- Very rainy spring
- Massive and historic frost on 27, 28 and 29 April in the Côtes de Beaune, Côte de Nuits and Chablis vineyards

But we will remember the exceptional quality of this vintage.
