Domaine Dominique Laurent is a wine estate in Burgundy, France, which was founded in 1988 by Dominique Laurent. Prior to founding his own Domaine, Dominique Laurent worked as a cooper for 10 years, where he gained an in-depth knowledge of winemaking and ageing techniques.<\/p>\n
The estate is based in Nuits-Saint-Georges and covers approximately 12 hectares of vineyards, spread over several prestigious appellations of the C\u00f4te de Nuits, including Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Roman\u00e9e, and Nuits-Saint-Georges.<\/p>\n
The style of the wines produced by Dominique Laurent is marked by a long maturation in oak barrels, which can last up to 36 months for certain crus, giving the wines a great aromatic complexity and a silky texture. The wines are also vinified naturally, without the use of chemicals or enzymes.<\/p>\n
