]]> Domaine Georges Roumier is one of the most renowned wine estates in Burgundy, France. Its history goes back several generations and is closely linked to the Roumier family. The estate was founded by Georges Roumier in the 1920s. Originally, the estate consisted mainly of vineyards in Chambolle-Musigny, a famous wine-producing commune in Burgundy. La Vougeraie, a family home, symbolises the filiation of Jean-Claude and Claudine Boisset with today Nathalie and Jean-Charles, their children, who are at the origin of the rebirth of this estate, and of Vougeot, which brings together the heart of the vineyard. The same passion has been present since its birth, with the same unceasingly renewed demands.

La Vougeraie is about revealing the terroirs in excellence. A demanding philosophy expressed from the outset by the choice of organic viticulture: to find living soil, the essence of exalting wines. Very quickly, from 2001, biodynamic viticulture took its first steps, gently, in a more holistic vision.
