Château La Mission Haut-Brion is one of the most prestigious wine estates in Bordeaux, France. Its history dates back to the 17th century, when the estate was known as Domaine de La Mission. In 1664, the property was acquired by the Lazarist Fathers, a Catholic congregation, who used it as a place of spiritual retreat and as a vineyard.

The estate is located in the Pessac-Léognan region, within the Graves appellation, renowned for its high-quality red and white wines. Mission Haut-Brion is a neighbour of the famous Château Haut-Brion, with which it shares a closely linked history. Over the centuries, the estate has changed hands several times, but its commitment to quality and excellence has never wavered. Successive owners have helped to enhance the reputation and renown of La Mission Haut-Brion wines.

In 1983, the Dillon family, also owners of Château Haut-Brion, acquired La Mission Haut-Brion, bringing the two historic estates under one management. This union strengthened La Mission Haut-Brion's position among the great growths of Bordeaux. Since then, the estate has continued to produce exceptional wines, both reds and whites, that are sought after by connoisseurs the world over. La Mission Haut-Brion is renowned for its distinctive style, characterised by elegance, finesse and the ability to age well in bottle.

Today, Château La Mission Haut-Brion remains one of the jewels of the Pessac-Léognan appellation and continues to be synonymous with quality and excellence in the world of wine.
