Domaine Nicolas Rossignol is a wine estate located in Burgundy, France. It was founded by Nicolas Rossignol himself, a member of the Rossignol family, a Burgundian family well established in the wine business for several generations. Nicolas Rossignol started working in the family vineyard at the age of 5 and developed a passion for wine at an early age. After gaining solid experience working with his father and grandfather, he decided to create his own estate in 1997.

Initially, the estate consisted mainly of vineyards in the commune of Volnay, where Nicolas Rossignol was born and raised. However, over time, he gradually expanded his land and acquired new parcels in other prestigious Burgundy appellations, such as Pommard, Beaune, and Gevrey-Chambertin. Nicolas Rossignol's estate is renowned for its traditional approach to viticulture, with an emphasis on respect for the terroir and organic farming. The vines are carefully tended, using environmentally friendly methods, and harvesting is often done by hand to ensure careful selection of the grapes. When it comes to winemaking, Nicolas Rossignol favours a non-interventionist approach, allowing the grapes to express themselves fully. The estate's wines are often aged in oak barrels, with particular attention paid to the balance between structure, elegance and aromatic complexity.

Over the years, Domaine Nicolas Rossignol has gained recognition and renown, receiving praise from wine critics and connoisseurs around the world. The wines produced by the estate are considered examples of Burgundian excellence, embodying the unique characteristics of each terroir. Today, Nicolas Rossignol is joined by his brother, David, and together they continue to carry on the family legacy and produce exceptional wines that reflect the character and finesse of Burgundy.
