Domaine Bernard Dugat-Py is one of the most prestigious wine estates in Burgundy, France. It is located in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, a region renowned worldwide for its red wines. The history of the estate goes back several generations. It all began with Pierre Dugat, Bernard Dugat-Py's great-grandfather, who started cultivating vines in Gevrey-Chambertin in the early 20th century. Over the decades, the Dugat family acquired and extended their vineyard plots, thus laying the foundations of the estate.

It was Bernard Dugat-Py who really brought the estate to its peak. In the 1980s, he took over the family business and made significant changes. He began to adopt more rigorous viticultural practices and to emphasise the pursuit of the highest quality in wine production. Under the direction of Bernard Dugat-Py, the estate has also adopted an artisanal and traditional approach to winemaking. Yields are kept low, the vines are carefully worked by hand and the harvest is carried out manually. The grapes are meticulously sorted to select only the best.

The wines of Domaine Bernard Dugat-Py are often regarded as benchmarks for Gevrey-Chambertin. They are known for their power, concentration and great ageing capacity. The estate produces a range of wines, from village appellations such as Gevrey-Chambertin to grand crus such as Charmes-Chambertin, Mazoyères-Chambertin and Chambertin.

Today, the estate is managed by Bernard Dugat-Py and his son, Loïc Dugat. They continue the family legacy by producing exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of Gevrey-Chambertin. Domaine Bernard Dugat-Py continues to be a reference in the Burgundian wine landscape and is admired by wine lovers around the world.
